New 'family tree' project using poker work and a few paintings on plates...

'Female Wales' Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay - 3 - 26 August

'Female Wales' dates now confirmed at 3-26 August at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay.

Shortlisted for the £ 3000 prize are Susan Adams, Iwan Bala, Colin Barfoot, Ivor Davies, Sarah Hope, 
Kunte Howell-Ojidade , Robert Alwyn Hughes, Wendy Mayer, Paul Rees and Philippa Robbins.

Students shortlisted for the £ 750 prize are Elizabeth Brickell , Ella Edwards, Sian Leung, Susan Morris, 
Tiffany Oben and Julia Rowlands.

There will be two workshops on 18 & 25 August.

This will be followed by another exhibition of different works by the 
artists at:  Oriel y Bont, University of Glamorgan, Pontypridd,  from 6 September 
to 18 October.   PV and prize-giving event at Pontypridd, probably on 7 or 14 
October (tbc).

Forthcoming shows

I've been selected for:

• the Royal West of England Academy's Open Painting exhibition which opens on 27 March in Bristol and continues through April 
• the Worcester Open which starts on 24th April and runs until June

I'm also going to be showing at 17 Great George Street in Bristol from 15th April and at Spike Island as part of the Open Studios weekend on the 1-3rd May

PCUK Portsmouth

I've not been keeping this up enough.

Since August been in a show PCUK in Portsmouth with some photos and I've just had some works delivered to 'The Women's Art Show 2010' which is at the Fairfield Arts Centre in Basingstoke.  The exhibition opens on 26 February.

here is some relatively recent stuff but I have had camers and computer problems so this isn't the very latest...
